My House is my Temple
Preliminary design – A study on dwelling as ritual
A house is more than a building. It is a place where the everyday becomes ritual. This study explores how architecture can invite silence, softness, and orientation — not as aesthetic elements, but as vessels of meaning.
Inspired by the idea of dwelling as a way of being in the world, the design begins with the approach: a path, a pool, a threshold. From there, a quiet geometry unfolds — drawn from the ground, held by light, and rooted in stillness.
The study is expressed through a series of model images — abstract, pale, and precise. The materials are provisional: foam, paper, light. What remains is the question:
how can we build a space that not only shelters, but also connects?
