House DC
A compact home, grounded.
On a plot once occupied by a much larger house, a couple decided to redefine what living well means. They chose to stay — not by expanding, but by reducing. The result is a compact, sculptural home designed for two, where every square meter is considered, and every space carries intention.
The house cast in place, using concrete that was hand-finished to evoke the softness and tactility of clay. It feels warm, textured, and quietly present — not imposing, but belonging.
Anchored gently into the terrain, the house invites light, silence, and slowness.
