Elevated
Elevated is a bungalow dwelling conceived as a horizontally articulated volume lifted half a level above the surrounding landscape. Set on a long, deep plot, the project follows the linear logic of the site in both its spatial organization and its relationship to the terrain.
A defining feature of the design is its dual cantilever: the volume extends toward both the front and the rear of the site, allowing the house to hover above the ground plane at either end. This structural gesture maintains the continuity of the landscape while giving the building a clear and controlled presence within the field.
The architectural language is restrained and structural, with a strong emphasis on horizontality, proportion, and the relationship between structure and open space. In its stance and spatial clarity, the project shows an affinity with Brazilian mid-century modern residential architecture
